A household in its basic form consists of two people who have committed to living together and they probably love each other. Or at least the care about the other person enough to help them in whatever might come up. Sometimes this can be cleaning the house and making it look presentable, other times it can be throwing the trash and walking the dog. Some boys are still brought up in a patriarchal way which tells them that taking care of the house chores is primarily a woman’s job, whereas men have to take care of the money and provide for the family. Whether the case is this one, or your man is more on the lazy side, we have a list of house chores for him, which will turn the situation around.

Vacuum cleaning

One of the most mindless tasks when it comes to cleaning the house, vacuuming doesn’t require any skill. But if your carpets or uphostery has spots, you shuould definitely use North Area Efficient Carpet Cleaning .You just have to be patient enough to go through ever room and observe carefully, so you won’t miss a single hair or crumble. This is a good place to start from, when you want to start involving your significant other in the house chores. Perhaps you have noticed how exhausting vacuuming can get, since it involves using your upper body strength for an extended period of time. He will be more than happy to employ his arms, and he’ll help both you and himself with this little workout of sorts.

Washing the dishes

Cleaning the dishes should not be something you dread, because once you start with the first dish it gets progressively easier. If you usually do the cooking because you love your life too much to let your man prepare one of his special dishes for you, at least let him wash the dishes and glasses once you’re done with diner. Keep your expectation on a normal level and don’t expect too much, so you won’t be disappointed when you notice a tiny speck of food left. Don’t criticize him too much, because this can knock the wind out of his sails. Just tell him with a sincere expression that he did good this time, but he’s going to do even better next time.

Laundry

Separating the laundry by color is also a very easy task, which your man has the full capacity to get done. Once you explain to him the gist of it and he learns which colors are okay to mix and which are an absolute no no, he might even have fun while trying to locate all black, white and colorful pieces of clothing. The second part of this task is hanging the clothes  to air-dry on an clothesline, for example. Apart from being the best way to dry our clean clothes, this is the most entertaining one. He’ll be occupied with untangling all pieces of clothing and reuniting all sock pairs. Maybe even try to find the missing one.

Dusting

Dusting is the least time-consuming of house chores and one of the easiest as well. He couldn’t possibly say no to 5 minutes of cleaning the dust of any flat surface, let’s say, in the living room. Give him one room per day and he won’t notice how the whole house has been dusted by the end of the week – smart, right? As in any other field, equality is essential and you two must learn how to work together in equilibrium, to achieve your shared goals.
