Lights on Garage Door Opener are Busted

Written by Posted On Wednesday, 25 October 2017 01:51

You may notice that there are lights on your garage door opener. If these lights won’t work or flickers, it may be an indication that something is wrong with your overhead garage door. The main reason behind this is that you may have a bad socket.
You can replace a problematic socket by accessing the circuit control board. It is best to replace a bad socket for prevention and safety. If you are not confident in doing these, you can contact a garage door repair company to facilitate the repair and replacement of parts.
It is also possible that the bulbs are busted or have overheated. Make sure that you check on these regularly and not wait for them to completely shut off before replacing. Also, you should take note of the wattage of the right bulb in order to prevent any fire, injuries or damages.
