Clogged Vacuum Cleaner? Here Are Practical Ways on How to Solve It

Written by Posted On Tuesday, 28 November 2017 00:30

Having a clogged vacuum cleaner is a frequent issue faced by homeowners. If you happen to come across this issue, don’t worry because you can personally do the fixing and get back to cleaning in no time.

First, unplug the unit. Locate the vacuum tube. This part is easy to remove so you can effortlessly check any debris inside. If you can’t see through the tube, there is a blockage. Next, in order to remove it, you can use a broom handle to push the accumulated dirt, fur or thread.

If the vacuum tube is clear, you can check the bag, cleaner head or other inspection panels. You can easily see the source of congestion and using a glove, you can just pull it out carefully.

Although these are practical tips, in case you are not comfortable in removing the clog, you can ask a family member or a trusted appliance service specialist to assist you. You don’t want the problem to worsen which can lead to inconvenient and expensive appliance repair.
