We all want to live in a fancy house which is comfortable. Everyone has their definition of warm and elegant home. Someone wants a modular kitchen, while others may look for a bar. But, what remains in the list of the most people is inground swimming pools. It just makes your house a million times more attractive. It is advisable to keep the design simple so that the construction doesn't become too complicated and t will also be less expensive. Go for some classic stone walls to make it look royal. You can choose a flat bottom because it becomes easier to clean and maintain. There are a lot of shapes coming up, but most people go for the box shape. The more fittings you indulge in, the more complex and expensive it becomes. But, if you want a fancy one and you are concerned that the inlet and outlet pipes if visible would ruin the look, choose skilled labors to do so. Having said the tips, you need to keep in let us see the steps in details to construct inground swimming pools:

⦁   Pick the type of inground pool

There are different types of inground pool mainly vinyl-lined, concrete and fiberglass.

The vinyl pools have a flexible liner in it which is fit into the cavity. It is attached to the walls which are made of aluminum, steel or non-corrosive polymer. There are freeform liners also available, but mostly they are of L-shaped or rectangular. The one disadvantage is that pool toys, sharp objects or even can puncture the material inside. It takes 1 to 3 weeks for getting installed.

The concrete pools can be of any shape and size that you want, and they can be customized according to your wish. The concrete gets shot on the steel walls using a gun, and after they settle plastering, painting is done to make it smooth and give it a texture. It takes about 3 to 12 weeks for completion. It is firm, can be enlarged, remodeled and is durable.

The fiberglass pools take much less time to get installed like about three days or so. The gel coat finish is incredibly smooth and makes it stain resistant and durable. Another significant advantage is, as they are non-porous there is less formation of algae. However, there are not many sizes and shapes available.

⦁   Choosing the Perfect Site for the Pool

Usually, pools are constructed in the backyard where there is enough space for hanging out and playing. When a new swimming pool is built, there might be some changes that have to be made to the place like cutting the trees, removing some part of fencing, etc. So, make sure the place you choose doesn't have much of those features because then the cost will keep increasing. Also, choose a site where sunlight is abundant so that the water gets warmed up. You might not want to construct the pool in a low-lying area because you don't want the pool to be all muddy during the rains. Don't build them over any place where there is any electrical lines or sewage system beneath.

⦁   Choose a Basic Design for the Pool

Make necessary plans like you want a round, rectangular or square shaped pool. Don't make it too deep. Also, decide the number of entrances and exits the pool will have. Discuss them thoroughly with your contractor before installing them.

⦁   Circulation System Should Be Appropriate

The drainage system should be taken care of so that the water is always clean. Filtration and sanitization are two most important features to do so. The commonly used filters are cartridge, sand or diatomaceous earth (DE). The most popular water sanitizer is chlorine which is an oxidizer. You can also go for bromine in place for chlorine.

⦁   Excavating

The pool contractor helps you in digging the selected location for installing the pool. There is heavy machinery like a backhoe which is used.

⦁   Prepare the Subsoil

Depending on the type of subsoil you have chosen, you need to fill the bottom of the pool. If it is a ceramic pool, this is not required but a concrete pool, it becomes an essential step.

⦁   Placing

The pool is transported and placed on the base which was prepared.

⦁   Installation of Pipes and Other technologies

The inlet nozzles, skimmer, hoses, lights, and pipes are to be fitted. Use gravel or any dry mixture which is tough to backfill the pool. There are other technical things which are to be inserted in the pool shaft or any room if created for this purpose. After installation is done, it is roofed, and tiles are fitted surrounding it.

These are a few steps that are followed to create a swimming pool. It is a tedious process, but you'll agree nonetheless that it is worth it.
