Everyone wants that when he or she comes home after having a great, tiring day, then the home environment could give the person comfort and relaxation. With the temperature rising so high, installing the air conditioners is the only way to get rid of high temperatures. Window air conditioners are the most conventional form, but they have now been replaced with split air conditioners. These are very effective and allows easy cooling of the house.

Key Component of Split Air Conditioner:

Most people install the split system air conditioner. Basically, there are three main components of the split air conditioner systems. These three components are mentioned below:

•   Indoor unit or cabinet which is used to keep the evaporator coils of the machine

•   An outdoor cabinet which is made up of metal and does contain the compressor and also the condenser

•   Air handler is also there which is used to send the cool air or breeze from the different ducts to different places.

Why Choose Split Air Conditioners over Others?

There is an obvious reason why people go for split air conditioners over the conventional window AC system. The indoor unit is mounted on the wall, while the outdoor unit is placed out. The best part about the split air content is that they have silent operation, thus leaving a peaceful environment within the house. Moreover, its sleek and elegant design; thus, it blends with the interiors of the house.

Now we come to the split air conditioner. As we have already mentioned above, this system has an indoor unit and outdoor on the outside, and it makes the inner ambiance of the house peaceful.

On the other hand, the packaged central air conditioner has a condenser, evaporated coil, compressors which are located only in one cabinet. The compressor is generally placed or kept on a roof, or a slab made up of concrete in the foundation of a house. These types of air conditioners are also used in some of the commercial buildings which are usually small in size. The supply of air and also the return ducts are installed in such a way that these come from the indoors of the home that is through the exterior walls which could get easily connected with the packaged air conditioners that are installed at the outdoors of the house. This type of air conditioner includes the electric heating of the coils and also furnaces of natural gas.

Advantages of Split Air Conditioner:

1. Reduces Energy Bills - With lesser or no use of the ducted system, there is little probability of losing heat to the environment. This ensures better performance of the system, thus saving on the utility bills.

2. Ease of Installation - Another reason why you should choose the split system over the other is that they are very easy to install. The indoor unit is usually up to 100 feet away from the outdoor system. These can be easily mounted on the place you desire without too much drilling work.

3. Pollutant Control - Most of the split air conditioner systems that we have in the market come with the feature of pollutant control. So, if you are looking for an option that can not only help in creating the right temperature, and at the same time, it also keeps the environment clean, then split air conditioner will be a good choice.

4. Silent Operation - Spilt air conditioners are known for their silent operation. Since the fan and the condenser are located outside, these are very silent in operation.

All-in-all, we can say that split air conditioners have the edge over the others. Make sure that you choose the one which matches your requirement and budget.
