Made from different types of materials like metals; steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, etc. towel dryers are polished with lacquer or chrome plating to finish it off. The dryers are heated with the help of heating cables, heating cartridge or any other electrical method. It is also heated by central heating and circulation of hot water.

The initial use of these products was started by European hotels for drying and heating the towels. There are two types of towel ladders, the traditional heated ladder that heats the water through electrical power and boilers. The second one is an electrical resistance towel ladder that heats the oil or water contained in the material.

There are some manufacturers who use a combination of both of these methods. It is very useful during wintertime because it can provide an on-demand towel warming facility. You can convert your bathroom into a spa and feel the lavish lifestyle in your home. Heated towel ladders can keep your towels warm and you can easily install them on your bathroom walls. Weighing the Advantages of Heated Towel Ladders

Despite being a very commonly used product, they have certain advantages and disadvantages as well. The very first advantage is that of a visually appealing product that also has an aesthetic value. This enriches the rooms and provides a different touch and style to it altogether. Secondly, the most obvious advantage is that towels can be dried more quickly as soon as they come in contact with the body.

  • In comparison to a cast iron radiator or a classic radiator, the heated towel ladders use very few amounts of water. This is why this is considered an economical and ecological method when it comes to power or water consumption. Due to the different structures, the heated ladder can adapt to different types of rooms.
  • The heated towel ladders also have certain disadvantages and the primary one being that only the part of the towel that is touching the pipe is heated faster. Other disadvantages are less problematic and do not usually affect the usability of the product.

There are a few things to consider before making any purchase or installation.

  • The temperature should be adjustable according to personal preference
  • It should have a good safety and quality rating
  • Trust a good and serviceable brand

It is widely agreed upon that heated towel rails are more practical in comparison to normal radiators. They serve more than one purpose while still maintaining good product quality. Once fixed vertically to a wall, they can save a lot of space, especially in smaller bathrooms. In a minimalistic, contemporary and modern bathroom, people are looking for more streamlined options that provide more appeal in appearance than simple and standard radiators.
