Ask Denise: Investing in Branding

Written by Posted On Wednesday, 13 April 2022 00:00

Q: “Denise, I know I need to develop a brand for a whole lot of reasons. But what is holding me back is the cost. I have heard it can cost thousands and thousands of dollars and I just don’t have that kind of cash!”

A: I can’t speak to what other companies charge, but we are such strong believers in the impact a great brand can have that we have made brand development and the initial set of templates very affordable. Our Semi-Custom PRO branding package is $3,588 and our Custom branding package is $5,988. We even offer monthly financing over 12 months (in-house financing – you work with our bookkeeper, Nancy). That makes our monthly financing either $299 for Semi-Custom PRO or $499 for Custom.

Essentially, I liken this to an investment in a car. You know you need a car and many folks pay between $299-$499 for a monthly car payment. It would be difficult to do business without a car. Not having one would slow you down considerably OR you may have to pay for a service like UBER.

When you don’t have a brand, it can slow your business down. It may be difficult to take care of your past clients or generate leads effectively because you don’t have a system. In fact, some people even have to pay for online leads due to their lack of brand and systems.

My point? Branding is an investment, not a cost. It is an investment that will make you money year-in and year-out. And the cool thing is we have clients who develop a brand with us and every year or so they come back and are ready to add a new system or two. For example, right now we are working with clients who developed a brand with us in the past and now they are just starting a geographical farm or need a buyer package. This allows you to really grow with your brand, develop the systems you need, and invest incrementally in your business as you start to see those returns.
