Noisy Garage Door? Here is the Solution

Written by Posted On Tuesday, 28 November 2017 00:29

Our garage doors are made of hundreds of mechanical and electronic components that need to be properly connected in order to make your door function. Any loose or unaligned part will cause the entire mechanism to fail.
In certain cases, however, there is no problem with the mechanism, but you hear noisy and squeaking noises when your door opens and closes. When this happens, do not be alarmed because this is only an indication that some of the parts of your door need cleaning or lubricating.
Most companies offer garage door maintenance services, which include thorough cleaning and lubricating of parts like pulleys, cables, and tracks, which are oftentimes the cause of the noise. If you do not avail of garage door services, you can always lubricate these parts yourself. Lubricants are readily available in hardware stores and locating the pulleys, cables, or tracks are easy.
