Looking to Redecorate for Spring? Look No Further

It may still not feel like it outside, but spring is here. That means it's time for warmer weather, fresh fruits and veggies, and plenty of flowers. If you're like me, you change up your home for each season, whether in a big way or a small way. When it comes to spring, I usually tend to make bigger changes. So how can you spruce up your home to reflect the changing of the seasons?

One of my favorite ways is to incorporate elements from nature. An easy way to do that is by having fresh cut flowers in your home. This will brighten any space and bring some color.

If you're looking for something different, consider making something to hang plants. Things like these DIY plant hangers are fun and add character to your home. They look great and also are a great way to hand plants if you're short on space.

Continuing on with the floral theme, if you're looking for some new decor to add, think about a bold floral pattern. Oversized, bold floral patterns are primed to be one of the hottest trends for the year and there's no better time to try it out than spring. Some experts say pair it with a contrasted background for the full effect.

Outside of florals, there are other ways to make your home feel more like spring. An airy spring switch is always a good option. You can create a casual room full of color and life and just feels like spring. By adding in colored vases, fun throw pillows, and lively rugs your space can really come alive. Consider going bargain hunting at a flea market or thrift store if you're trying to be budget conscious.

One last idea to add that spring in your step is to create something unique with mason jars. Mason jars have been a bit of a go-to in recent years, but they're a classic and there are so many ways to use them. You can use them as vases, as pencil cups, as part of a centerpiece, and others. Head on over to Pinterest to check out some of the best ways. I would recommend painting them and filling them with Easter candy.

So, how do you decorate for spring? If you're like me, spring means a time for change and a time for something new. The world outside changes, so why shouldn't your home?
