Kitchen is an intrinsic part of every house and a place where a lot of time is spent. Kitchen should always design for convenience and functionality. Nowadays more and more people are investing money on kitchen design to ensure that it looks classy, stylish and contemporary.

Always ensures to use the kitchen area intelligently to create maximum storage space. Storage requirements need to be analysed in order to plan drawers, shelf cabinets or tall units. The overhead storage cabinets are good way to create extra space. Always, remember not to clutter your kitchen, instead classify your storage area according to your needs.

Choose a right Countertop

The counter tops is one of the most important things that need attention, it determines the longevity of the kitchen. The choice of the material depends upon the cooking done in your house. Choosing right appliances and accessories –

The modular kitchen designs gives proper space for the installation of all the modern utilities like dish dryer, dishwasher, oven etc.  While choosing the modern appliances always ensures to pick the appliances that choose your needs.

The kitchen work triangle is the placement of the cooktop, sink and the fridge in a practical way and accessible way within the standard gap in the kitchen.  The kitchen island increases the efficiency of kitchen.

Choose the right material

The kind of material you choose affects the cost of building. Remember not to choose material solely on price.  The important points to remember for choosing material for construction:-

  • Take accurate measurements of the height and depth of the cabinets, and also measure the length of counter tops.
  • Use durable material to withstand heat, scratches and splashes of liquids while cooking. Durable material such as steel, glass, PVC, stone and wood would always be a good choice.
  • Do the flooring with ceramic tiles or vinyl, or even laminate as they give value for money.

Proper Ventilation :-

It is always important to keep in mind the ventilation and safety concerns while planning your kitchen space. The modular kitchen gets the provision of using chimney, adding one would be beneficial as it would suck out the entire fumes and smoke, and keep the kitchen smoke free.
