Water can flow through these cracks which can make the cause of dampness in the basement. Thus, you have to make sure that your basement does not have any crack. If you notice any crack then immediately patch the crack by taking the help of someone.

5>   Prevent the Occurrence of Condensation:-

Condensation is the major reason for the growth of the molds. When moisture is present in the basement then it causes dampness. Precipitation is the major cause of potential damage. It does not only have an adverse effect on home safety and cleanliness but also give rise to various devastating ailments.

6>   Interior waterproofing:-

In order to make your basement free from water, interior waterproofing is one of the best methods for the basements protection. However, make sure that the outside waterproofing should be your first priority than the inside one.

Proper sealants have a capability to save your basement walls from any type of leakages. Thus, it will prove extremely beneficial for your basement.
