Real Estate Perspectives

To My Dear Real Estate Family,

This is my first report and newsletter to you after being in the UK as a Church Volunteer for a year and half. While there, it was interesting to have a little insight of the local real estate industry functions. But it is exciting to be back in the flow of things here at home.

Conditions and economic factors of today present one of the greatest opportunities to succeed in real estate that our market has seen in multiple decades. Forget about the recessions we have survived and the critical surges and plunges of record. Today, COVID -19 has set the stage for hard working well-trained licensees to achieve unprecedented levels of performance by applying high ethical standards and work habits known to and applied by top performing real estate professionals. Industry training and education has never been more plentiful and proficient.

Buyers and Sellers, property consumers of today, have needs to transact real estate motived by (1) desire for gain, or (2) necessity, due to economic conditions similar to those of the times of The Great Depression and significant time periods thereafter. Today’s huge number of properties in the marketplace and the values thereof, invite the competent practitioner into the arena of competition and opportunity. The outcome from effort and consultation in the marketing and sales process, resulting in success in the end, is totally dependent upon ONE (that is 1) factor: “THE INDIVIDUAL.”

Whether real estate practitioner or buyer/seller consumer, applicable tested and proven principles and concepts operative in the market place are certainly at work today. Be cautious. Be calculated with risks taken. Do your homework. Review and evaluate you research. Hire top professionals. Take action and move forward based on your decision making process. But of the many things I have learned in my 46 years in this business, one that has been proven over and over again and again is that those who wait, loose. Either be in the market or out of it, but don’t be a fence sitter.
